This. Is. Love.
04:04
|
|||
Silently we walk (silently we walk)
Quietly I pray (quietly she prays)
Quietly I smile
Quietly I sing (quietly he sings)
Softly she’s humming (hmmm)
Out of the silent film
Into the woods
This. Is. Love. This. Is. Love.
Into the woods we go
Shifting to and fro
And like trees we grow
Into the woods we go
He’ll keep his cover low
But by the end you’ll know
This. Is. Love. This. Is. Love. This. Is. Love.
Quietly you leave
I won’t need to grieve
We’ll all have what we need, and I see
This. Is. Love. This. Is. Love. This. Is. Love.

When we're young
03:29
|
|||
When we’re young
We Run into the sun
When we’re young
We ride into the night
And tonight
We’re gonna fly into the morning light
Into the morning light
The morning light
Hits us right in the face
The day taking its place
In our minds
The day that we came to ride
The fresh dark air on my face
The sweetest breath I could take
The perfect destination
The place unknown and strange
And we take, each bend
Like its our last
And we ride
Like were never coming back
And tonight
We’re gonna fly
Into the morning light…
Slow picking down on third
Move into single strums
Hits us right in the face
The day taking its place
In our minds
The day that we came to ride

Throwing paper planes
03:03
|
|||
Packed lunch in my rucksack as I head out onto the pavement,
To start my daily evolution
And by the time I reach the school gate
A smile has reached my face
And I’m the girl you all know
Do you remember that party?
It’s probably pretty hazy
I hope that your OK.
Dropped you home in your pajamas
Now your sat next to that girl again
Want to make sure your OK.
Sittin at the back of the class
Throwing paper planes for a laugh
Sittin at the back of the class
Paper aeroplanes is where it starts
Do you want to meet me after class
We could take walk
Head down to the chip shop
We could talk and never stop
I’ll see you after class,
We’ll run down to the beach
We’ll run so fast
And we’ll jump right in
So I’m throwing paper planes
Paper aeroplanes
Paper aeroplanes
Paper aeroplanes
And even when they stare
And even when they laugh
And even when things get dark
I’ll be there till the end
I love you you’re my best friend
We’re throwing paper planes
Paper aeroplanes
We’re throwing paper planes
Paper aeroplanes…

Here in my heart
04:06
|
|||
Here, in this car
We are friends together
This is a start
And we’ll go where ever
I’m not here to escape, but
Just to feel the breeze
Feel the wind on my face
And breathe
Here, in my heart
Should I be another
You, after all
Look at me like some other
Oh, what ever we forget now
There’s nothing to forgive
Winding down
To let in air
Take the wheel, like you’ve shown
Take it real slow
Do you feel you’re not alone, as you
Take a stage of your own
Here the wind has a flow
But also many streams
You can love who you loose
And everyone it keeps
We’re not here to escape but
Just to catch a breeze
Feel the wind shape the tree inside of me
Here, in my heart
Should I be another
You, after all
Look at me like some other

The lights
05:04
|
|||
It looks like me
But there’s a face that you can’t see
I’m young and I should be free
We’re young so let’s be
Take me away
From the scenes of today
Where I can be who I am
Not sure if I can
Though the lights are gone I must carry on
Though the lights are gone I must carry on
You know me well
I know you as well
There’s a time to hide
And a time to cry
I’d suffocate
In this small space
For so long, so long
Get me out
So I can carry on
Though the lights are gone I must carry on
Though the lights are gone you must carry on
Unknown feeling
Left us living
We change as the world goes round
Who knows where we are bound
I’m pegged to the ground
And I can hear the best sounds
Though the lights are gone I must carry on
Though the lights are gone you must carry on
Though you are gone we must carry on
It’s not the end
It’s not the end

The room and I
04:02
|
|||
In a room faced with you
In a room faced with life
Not sure what to do this time
This time
And time is all we ever have
So I sang
Sang the only song I had
I gave it all I got
Had nothing to loose
And like a leaf just dropped
The breeze takes me across
The Fields
And takes these words and them fly
This song and I
Past the place, where my life once laid
And the Universe is wide
And when I open my eyes
The room and I
Stand silent and amazed
For the child I am
A mans song I sang
And it carried me
Carried me away
Away I ran and away I stayed
I’ll be home mam, on a windy day
For though your child I am
A mans song I sang
Your child I am
A mans song I sang
And it carried me away

I could die like this
03:02
|
|||
Reckless, focusing devotion
New life out on the horizon
Hold on to fear like it’s golden
Shoots through the body but I hold on
My mind turns upside down
There is no ground, almighty sound
The silence
Craving another hit of freedom
Wanting more of it to feed on
The world flies inside out
I start to doubt
Alone
The silence
Losing gravity I could die like this
Still but falling free with my mind at ease
Beauty, it’s the power of now I miss.

A slow shift
04:12
|
|||
The first drift, a slow tectonic shift
A small fist on a window pane in the night
Soft but sure, made the first
Crack appear
That would finally give way
To the almighty roar
That came careering through my life
Obeying beasts that cried
And in the white smoke and dust
Hope stung our young eyes
And in the white smoke and dust
Hope stung our young eyes
Years and miles
From that child
Dark night skies rain down
It’s black light
A gleaming road
Through our young lives
And in it’s surface I found the future and I
I felt the universe expand
My eyes they were opened wide
And in the white smoke and dust
Hope stung our young eyes
And in the white smoke and dust
Hope stung our young eyes
And my mind was reeling with what could be
Of particles and possibilities
Time has passed
Life has had
It’s own way
Ours to take
Different paths
How do we see clearly through each day?

Wednesday's walk
03:49
|
|||
Sunsets are best when
You give them coal, to help them glow
Secrets, are often kept
In the dark, but the bruises
Always start to slowly show
December brings that darkness
through the door
And then she swings
and there’s diamonds on the floor
A shard of halo to protect them all,
from this home.
Locked away, for safety
Hidden here, been growing up for years
And it’s a fight to find the gems of school
But Wednesday’s walk sees
Emeralds on the floor
A jagged halo around us all, and this home.
The sun’s set, but it’s not over yet.

Henry's troubled mind
02:51
|
|||
Autumn 1494, Henry placed his young son
On a horses back to ride,
Through the streets of London
Against a writhing tide, of crowds
Who were astonished to see
The young prince passing by,
Riding unaccompanied,
His year was only three
A Duke he will soon ride
A duke you will soon find
Young Henry they cried
In Autumn 96, Warbeck’s men moved south
To plunder and to pillage,
From the English Mouth
And challenge Henry’s claim
To the English crown
A Resistance it did rise
And Henry’s raging tide,
Of war would not subside
Autumn 97, and Henry’s war raged on
His mind full of suspicion,
So many good men gone
And dressed in costly black and grey,
His fear it grew with every day
So his war it raged on,
His Kingdom would survive
The Pretender and his men
Began to sink beneath
Henry’s raging tide, and firm set mind
High up in the Tower
Two young men now dwell
Lost in mind and body, to the growing swell
Of conspirators and plotting men,
Their sorry young lives
Quenched of all that meant, anything true
Symbols of royal blood,
So near their deaths grew
Then in 1499
Warbeck and Warwick lost their, ill fated lives
Their troubled souls released
And Henry’s troubled mind, now at peace.

Warwick and Warbeck
01:18
|
|||
Warbeck and Warwick were two young men
Who were told they had claims
To the throne of England
But Henry the 7th, well he’d have none of this
He locked them in the tower
And was done with it
They may as well, have been dead
They may, as well have, been dead
But then some time later
Someone planned an escape
And Henry the 7th, well he was enraged
He’d have none of this, he’d have none of this
And he chopped of their heads
And was done with it
They were dead,
They were dead
Poor Warbeck and Warwick
Two unfortunate men
Who thought they had claims
To the throne of England
Tortured and punished for their attempts
Used by some many, for their own ends
They were better off dead
They were better off dead
Poor Warwick and Warbeck
